Food Stand items in need

Thank you for considering a donation to the Macedon Free Food Stand.  Over the past four years, we have created a helpful list of items people really need:  Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, detergent, cleaning sprays and sponges, canned beans, fruits (not from China) and vegetables, healthy cereals, shelf-stable cartons of milk (I usually buy at Dollar Tree), canned tuna, chicken and chili, low sodium Spam and soups, sardines, herrings, peanut butter, jelly, bread and crackers.  If you prefer not to do the shopping, we are very grateful for Venmo donations!  Thank you!!  

If you purchase a large quantity of items to donate, please contact Susan Short at 585-370-5265 to arrange a drop off. We have learned that not all humans are considerate of others, so we try to control the quantity of items available at any given time.  There is a sign that says “take 3 items only” but we know that doesn’t always happen.
